As stated in the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina mission statement, Franke at Seaside believes in the value of human life and dignity of the individual. Accordingly, the Health Care residential campus offers a broad range of residency options for older adults requiring daily medical and non-medical care on an on-going basis. We promote well-being among our health care residents by providing dedicated dining services, a vibrant Life Enrichment department and a committed, caring health care staff.
Here you will find the original Franke administrative offices, a cozy resident living room, dedicated exercise room, gift shop, the exquisite Rodenberg Chapel and several multi-purpose spaces that are widely utilized by both the Health Care and Active Lifestyle communities.

Assisted Living / Memory Care

Franke offers 86 assisted living private, semi-private, deluxe and premier suites, including Pavilion Place, which is a special care secured wing for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory concerns.
Franke’s goal is to empower our assisted living residents to function at the maximum level of independence possible. Accordingly, our assisted Living residents enjoy the same programs and services offered to the Cove Independent Living apartment residents, augmented by a complete meal plan, laundry services, and round-the-clock staffing. The deluxe and premier suites offer a kitchenette with cabinets, refrigerator and microwave.
Assisted Living fees are charged at a daily room rate plus monthly charges commensurate with the level of assistance required.

Keil Health Care Center
|
|
The Keil Health Care Center is comprised of 44 private and semi-private suites that offer Medicare certified skilled nursing services. Franke’s comprehensive rehabilitation program provides specialized care and treatment for older adults with a broad range of short and long-term recovery needs. Our interdisciplinary team integrates nursing, nutritional care, physical, occupational and speech therapy along with social services and recreation to achieve goals for independence and recovery. Health care center fees are based on a daily rate depending on the room style selected.

Short Term Stay Program
|
Franke’s Assisted Living, Memory Support and Nursing Centers offer a full complement of accommodations, 24-hour care, meals and amenities on a short-term basis. The Short Term Stay Program benefits caregivers who need a temporary break or want to take a vacation and individuals who need to recuperate after illness or hospitalization. Participating in the Short Term Stay Program also offers guests a chance to experience living in our community before making a commitment to move to Franke at Seaside.
