Let's celebrate our veterans! This is fun opportunity for veterans, their spouses and guests to socialize. You are welcome to bring service memorabilia to the chapel at 2:45 for display. Following the event, new additions to the "Wall of Honor" and the "Wall of Honor" Memorial will be unveiled at the Burges Center with a reception following in the lounge at 4 p.m.
Enjoy an elegant afternoon of music and connection as the Remington Concert Series presents Love Songs, featuring acclaimed vocalists Daniel Megli, tenor, and Leah Megli, mezzo-soprano and piano. The Remington Concert Series is named in honor of the late Emily Remington, a devoted patron of the Charleston arts who passed away in 2020. When Emily moved into Franke at Seaside, she shared with residents and staff that it was her mission to spread her love of music with her neighbors. From that vision, the Remington Concert Series was born and continues to enrich our community through exceptional live performances.
Residents are invited to observe Ash Wednesday with the Imposition of Ashes on February 18 at 3:00 p.m. in the Rodenburg Chapel. This brief service offers a meaningful time for reflection, prayer, and the beginning of the Lenten season. All are welcome to attend.
The Charleston Museum Presentation: Curator of Archaeology, John Fisher, will speak about African American History, specifically in regards to the Heyward Washington House, one of the Museum's historic houses. He recently conducted new research and fieldwork there last spring. Founded in 1773, The Charleston Museum, America's First Museum, has been discovering, preserving, interpreting, celebrating, and sharing ever since. Their collections, exhibitions, educational programs, and events are designed to inspire curiosity and conversation - about the South Carolina Lowcountry - and the stories that make us who we are.
